(Day 1&2) 7&8/04 叶棋薇 Qi Wei

On the first day, my partner and I needed to carry out our survey around ​​the store area. Since most of the stores were rented out to others, therefore they were unable to answer our questionnaire. My partner complained to me that he could not see the charm in this village. As an elder sister, I took him to the residential area which is just behind the store. The first owner was a native Cantonese. I stammered and explained to the elderly lady about the purpose of our activity with my poor Cantonese. When my partner looked at me, his eyes was filled with stun. We continued to go next door. However, the owner’s dog was standing in front of the fence. We moved one step and it followed. I was terrified. I though my partner was strong enough and was able to protect me. But suddenly, the brown dog rushed toward us. I was in great fear, and I pushed my partner to it subconsciously. His button fell off from his shirt.

The next day, he was smart. He wore a T-shirt without any button on it.

我们被狗追赶。

我们顶着大太阳。

我们一起在939吃冰。

我们被人拒绝接受访问。

我们也遇见非常热情的居民。

这是我们在沙登新村的14个小时。

第一天，刚下了雨的天气刚刚好。可是当时针慢慢地走到下午1点，天气开始变得不可爱。我们划分各自负责的区域，拿着问卷，兴匆匆地往前跑。我和小伙伴负责的是店家区域，由于店家多数都是出租给别人，所以他们都是一问三不知的。他向我抱怨道无法体会新村的魅力，身为大姐的我就带着他到店屋后的住宅区。第一间的主人，是广东籍贯。我利用自己微薄的广东话功力，结结巴巴地跟这位老婆婆解释我们的活动宗旨。小伙伴看见我，眼睛似乎都蒙上了一层的惊艳。我的心里暗暗得意，高兴地领着他走向下一家。这次，有幸让小伙伴彻彻底底地体会到了沙登新村的魅力。那只狗就站在篱笆前，我们移动一步，它也跟着移动。我有点怕，心里没底。刚好想到小伙伴是个健壮的男孩，我拉着她，勇敢的走向门前。突然，那只褐色的大狗，就扑向我们。我心里着急，害怕，就下意识的把小伙伴推向它。拉拉扯扯中，穿着衬衫的小伙伴，他的第二颗纽扣，掉了。

第二天，小伙伴聪明了，穿着T恤访问。当天的天气炎热，我们还是继续访问活动。中途休息时，几乎一半的朋友们都默契的奔向了939杂雪冰店。撇开了店里好吃的芒果冰，冰店也卖有猪肠粉。大家坐在冰店休息，畅谈着当天上午所发生的趣事。休息后又开始访问人家。有的热情、有的冷漠。

两天里，114张问卷，遇见了热情与冷漠掺半的居民。我心里感叹着新村的特征——热情与人情味似乎已经渐渐消失了。10年后的新村，希望还是有一部分的居民保持着热心的心肠。最后，对于所有给予配合的居民，献上深深的感谢。
